I am interested in the cultural expression of political experience and in how power and solidarity operate across political and cultural space.

I write about art, gender, culture and politics and I work creatively to enable groups and communities to self-advocate and discover new ways of thinking and seeing.

I am particularly interested in heritage from below and deliver creative sessions, sometimes in collaboration with artists.

You will find me in Scotland, working to end violence against women, in community heritage and in the trade union movement.
